The main quality goal of the Saint Petersburg State University Hospital – a multidisciplinary innovative centre – is the continuous improvement of the services’ quality based on the constant enhancement of the management system efficiency in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015.
The administration, represented by the director, commits to create appropriate conditions for the implementation of the Quality Policy and Objectives and to continuously improve the efficiency of the quality management system.
The administration takes responsibility for analysing regularly the results of the Quality Policy implementation and for updating the Policy when setting new goals and tasks arising from them.
Quality priorities:

shaping and developing high principles of dedication to the chosen profession and the needs of a sick person among the staff;

compliance with modern requirements for the quality of diagnosis, using the latest achievements of laboratory and instrumental diagnostics, including X-ray, morphological, molecular and cytogenetic methods;

improving the methods of managing divisions with the help of automated control systems;

using the latest methods of surgical and conservative treatment with high-quality evidence;

improving the quality of services, achieving a level corresponding to the continuously increasing demands of consumers;

The set goals are to be implemented if the medical and diagnostic work in the clinic's departments will meet the best modern international and domestic standards. This will make it possible to detect diseases in the early period of their development. Effective medication with surgical operations performed on time will prevent the development of complications that can lead to disability or death.
The main task is to ensure that the services provided comply with the strictest quality and safety standards.
The solution of the main task is connected with the implementation of efforts in the following main directions:
