Oncogynecology

We have a dedicated oncological team within our department. Patients with cancer of the cervix, uterus and ovaries receive a consultative and surgical treatment.

We perform surgical staging and radical surgery for gyn. cancer:

• Uterine cancer – total/radical hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (laparoscopy or laparotomy)

• Cervical cancer – Wertheim’s hysterectomy (with ovarian preservation and transposition, if necessary)

• Ovarian cancer – Primary or Interval Debulking surgery.
