The following malignant neoplasms of the genitourinary system are treated:
- prostate cancer,
- bladder cancer,
- kidney cancer,
- renal pelvis and ureter cancer (tumor),
- urethral tumors,
- testicular cancer (tumor),
- penile cancer (tumor).
- 1. 1. Surgeries and procedures on the prostate gland:
- biopsy,
- transurethral resection (TUR),
- radical prostatectomy (retropubic, laparoscopic).
- 1. 2. Surgeries and procedures on the bladder:
- endovesical (intravesical): endovesical electrocoagulation, transurethral electroresection,
- radical cystectomy (complete removal of the bladder) with the urine diversion through a dry/wet stoma or with the formation of an orthotopic neobladder,
- laparoscopic radical cystectomy.
- 1. 3. Surgeries and procedures on the kidney:
- partial nephrectomy with laparotomy and laparoscopic access,
- nephrectomy (through retroperitoneal, transperitoneal or thoracoabdominal route, as well as laparoscopically).
- 1.4. Invasive diagnostic methods:
- transrectal multifocal prostate biopsy.
